I love the detail you went into, and the practical advice. I live in Victoria and I see a lot of these guys, I love them too! I lived on a farm property surrounded by paddocks and reserves, and we'd see them come to breed every year, it was lovely. I've painted a couple very simply, but the lengths of realism you reach are splendid.

Thank you very much! You're lucky to have had them. We have them here too, down the back of our property in the bush. They are so hard to photograph. They're rarely stay still long enough for me to focus on them.

Wonderful work with your wet on wet washes, I love your use of color and lighting choices. Thank you for taking the time to mention all the colors you are using and when the paper is dry or wet.

In California we have the cutest Bewick wrens (and Western Bluebirds) but I never knew there were Fairy wrens! I love you work! ❤️. Do you give classes on Skillshare?

Hi Kerry. Thank you! I'll have to look up the Bewick Wrens. I've never heard of them. We have lots of little wrens here in Australia.
