I love these. Really. You need a shirt "Let's make a start" (love hearing you say that!) with a watercolour palette and start of a painting on it. (So guys wouldn't get the wrong sense here in America 😂 ) I'm saying that a lot now. I'm confused about Patreon vs website subscription. 😊

Hi Melan, thank you very much. The main difference between my Patreon Watercolour channel www.patreon.com/TheDevonArtist and my website devonartist.co.uk/memberships/ is that the second option is much, much easier to navigate and find my 85+ video lessons on. Patreon's great in its own way but trying to find things there can be a little tricky and frustrating sometimes. We have made a special page on my devonartist website to help my members on Patreon find the tutorials as well though. So, if you would prefer easier navigate plus a few extra little perks, my devonartist.co.uk/memberships/ is the best option out of the two. Hi Teresa, I used Regina's watercolours for this painting www.reginaswatercolor.com/ I do have a comparison chart for these colours within the main free tutorial on my website. All you need to do is become a free member there. devonartist.co.uk/memberships/ I hope this helps, Paul :-)

Hi! Is it regular transfer paper or graphite transfer paper? Some advise to avoid the regular one for watercolor due to the wax used in it, but I can't find the graphite alternative in my country. I usually go the traditional way, printing the subject and covering the back of the paper with graphite pencil. It works, for sure, but the paper end up quite dirty and some details get lost in the way or end up blurry and dusty. Back to the video now! 🖥️🎨👀Thanks a lot for sharing so beautiful paintings and helpful techniques. 🎨🙌

Hi LIndsay, I use wax free graphite backed transfer paper. Here is one of my affiliate links to give you some idea bit.ly/2NzKcXz Graphite paper is a good addition to your kit and can be used time and time again. I've been using the same pack of paper for a few years now! :-) If you're in the US DickBlicks may sell the wax free version as well, just be wary of very cheap graphite paper though, it can be difficult to erase. Hi Maria, sorry for the late reply but I have had issues with my YT notifications. I have use HP papers but I do find creating large washes much harder due to the smooth surface, hence the 140lb Not papers. Paul 🎨
