Beautiful work. Lots of information, steps and work to get to the final outcome. It was well laid out. Lots of hands-on and science to get that final finish. The video showed me what it takes to get that perfect finish. At the same time, it also showed me that it will take a lot of guts to attempt a project like this as a DIY. That's why there are professionals like KYM with the experience to get it done by "Working Smarter and not Harder." I'm glad to know that great work like this CAN be done right here. I'm eagerly looking forward to see the 6 months review.

I am going to be doing this on my wife’s sail boat. Would a 14” microfiber 1/4” roller give as nice of a finish. I did not find a larger roller in foam? Or any recommendations on a roller for large smooth area above waterline

What paint did you use? Is your boat on a lift?

Would the job be easyer and turn out even better if you sprayed it?

Most boatyard and marinas don't allow any spraying unless the boat is enclosed. It's a skill to be able to roll and tipp.

Ok, silly question - what do you do with the spots that you have something supporting the boat? like those stands and the wooden blocks?

Every day we shift the jack stands and paint the spots. After we finished we shifted the blocks and painted the spots

How did the foam rollers hold up to this paint? I was told that they tend to fall apart with two part paints.

The foam roller worked well. I noticed that they only fall apart if they are old

I use West System 800 epoxy foam rollers with Alexseal, the best finish, i tried all the small rollers and not ideal
