I decided to film another Borderlands Cel Shading Tutorial dealing with some more advanced techniques. This cel shading Psycho tutorial will focus on painting and airbrushing the Orange pants Psychos tend to wear. These painting techniques can also be applied to additional weapons and mask as seen in my other videos. With a new Borderlands movie in the works these just might be the painting techniques you need to amp up your Borderlands cosplay!

Yup....I’m gonna cartoon all my jeans/shorts now😍😂 are they washable even with the spray paint added? I mean i guess you could add a finisher that would kinda protect from coming off in the wash but is it meant just as a one off for cosplay and then throw it away/put away in a drawer or can this actually be worn multiple times? PS: i know how hard it is trying to find orange pants.....I’ve been trying to find a pair that are even remotely close to the kind i had back in 6th grade and still no luck to this day😭😂

Quick question! Let's say we've finished adding paint or airbrush details on to our clothing piece, is there something we can spray or apply on top of our clothes that will permanently keep the paint on? As always great video!

sorry I just saw this comment. I would use light greys and whites to cel shade a darker fabric so they stand out better

Will the paint wash off in the wash machine?

PsychoAxeMan the acrylics might but that’s why I usually use a vodka spray or some kind of low water method to keep my costumes smelling fresh. You could also use fabric paints if you were worried about needing to wash your clothes more often

As with any painted cloth you’d want to lightly hand wash it. But most of the time when cloth costume parts need “cleaning” you use a spray bottle and hit them with some vodka. Vodka won’t ruin the paint and the smell disappears once dry
