I’m always in awe of how the British have preserved old buildings and the history that comes with it. I imagine if I ever were to visit it would be like travelling through different eras 💙

And this is what I missed. My sister and a friend were able to travel to England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales last March but I caught COVID four days before we left so I could not go with them....but glad they went and were there for my sister's 70th. One day....:)

Loved this video! You have such a wealth of lovely old building in England, I am multiple shades of green with envy. Here in the Midwest when I paint old buildings it is usually a wooden barn that has started to fall into ruin. I just love the stone buildings. Thank you!

I am watching these beauriful scenes on my phone and I can imagine how beautiful they are in real life. The history is very interesting also. Enjoyed the tutorial Paul. I have pondered on the best ways that suggest movement or motion in watercolour. Wind and rain or a galloping horse etc. Perhaps a tutorial by a certain Mr Clark is needed to explore this further.

I wonder if you are willing to do some urban sketching on site demo. Line and wash is a favorite technique for that.
