Hi Paul.I have been drawing with you for a long time, thanks for the support of my country - Ukraine. My native Kharkov is now under Russian bombs and missiles. After 10 days under bombs, we left for Western Ukraine. Now I'm painting with you again. You are my watercolor idol. Thanks!

I hope your Dad is okay Paul. My elderly Dad is going for a nasty procedure today. He's 90. I found your daffodil watercolour painting very relaxing to watch. There are many of tgem in the garden so to take my mind off things I think I'll pop in to my garden Studio and have a go! Thanks again. Enjoy your beer. 👏🤗😊

We have loads of them where we live (North Georgia, US). They spread each year and pop up in surprising places! We call them “March flowers” locally since they bloom in early March even though we know they’re actually daffodils. They are the delightful first signs of spring. So pretty.

Hi Mr Clark ! I just discover you, I am a beginner of several years... (!) and very happy to have tried, and suffered a lot, with my first daffodil with you. Thank you so much for your generosity, it is very rare those times in France where we have many talentuous pros but not sharing their art like you do. Why ? I dont know. It is a supplementary difficulty but also an entertainment for english understanding !!!

Absolutely beautiful! You know, I think the daffodils appear in strange places because the squirrels must replant them. Before I sold my house I planted 100 daffodil and 100 tulip bulbs every single fall. Then I'd watch the squirrels dig them up and in spring I'd be lucky to get 5 of each flower. I bet the squirrels bury their hoards and don't always finish eating them and they regrow, thus showing up in strange places. I know in Canada they're responsible for replanting much of our forests but I never gave a second thought as to whether they were replanting my bulbs; I always thought they were just eating them. It brings me great joy to know that perhaps I'm responsible for 100's of daffodils and tulips out some in forest or meadow somewhere, thanks to the squirrels, lol.

Fun. Thank you. Good luck to your dad. It's not an easy decision to make. Once they settle in, they do start to actually enjoy making friends and doing daily activities. Especially if they are with other old friends from their town. Here, in Iowa, the retirement homes are full of people each other grew up with and have known all their lives. So they're surrounded by old friends. Good luck

I live in a city, with parks and nearly wild green belts. When people clean their flower beds in the spring, they sometimes toss the scraps and clumps into the nearby woods, rather than pack them for disposal by the city. A little naughty, but the squirrels enjoy eating the broken/damaged bulbs. Sometimes , the bulbs survive, and take hold, resulting in random blooming tulips, lilies, and daffodils.

Yellow is my favourite colour - I love seeing the daffodils pop up each year. Such a hopeful, heart-lifting sight. And the crocus that usually appear alongside them are such pretty flowers.
