I love how you always put the character of everything first, rather than trying to copy them. Like how you can always distil the character of the details instead of meticulously trying to copy a shape of a little highlight.

Another amazing video ! Can't wait to see more ! For the varnish, Baumgartner art restoration wizard uses the retouch resin coat and then adds the final varnish, so I would go with the master conservator's way.

It`s a really good portrait, I especially like the light on her left cheek and that loosy brushwork. Im always trying not go to too rough with light, but recently I`ve been rethinking my approach.
