Paul, I grew up in this area of New York and wanted to tell you that , in addition to your awesome tutorial (of course), this one meant the world to me--especially when you mentioned the Cannonsville Reservior. My Dad used to take me fishing there all the time and the sweet memories you called up were priceless and precious! ❤

Good morning Paul. Thank you again for another tutorial. This one touches my heart, my dad was an avid fly fisherman...any type of fisherman really. His heavenly birthday is coming up in 3 weeks, we lost him 3 years ago, so this tutorial is so timely. Im going to paint it in his memory. Thank you 🙏

I am from Johannesburg, South Africa and I only discovered your videos on how to paint in watercolour a few days ago. You have a rather straight forward way of handling the colours. I like your easy basic colours, but you have great skill. I have been very interested in painting art for many years, but did not realy get into doing it. Your training videos will certainly help me to get going properly. My daughter is an accomplished botanical watercolour artist, but that style is just too demanding for me. How many water colour paintings have I tore in anger as something went wrong but you nailed it despite the early mess up. This takes years of mastery to overcome these obstacles. Great picture again

Western New York, where I live and grew up, has plenty of places for all sorts of water related activities. The east end of Lake Erie, the Niagara River, the mighty Niagara Falls and the west end of Lake Ontario provides a multitude of habitat for various wildlife species. Another fine tutorial by Mr. Clark!🎉

I’m doing it now for the flu, I haven’t done it before. Lie in bed and get treatment, on your feet don’t tolerate the flu. I wish you, dear, a speedy recovery! I will pray for you 😌🙏! I received the test results, everything is normal, except... glucose - 8.6 units. I need to go to the doctor and get treatment! I liked Paul’s lesson ,everything is in blue today!🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🐟 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟

Loved it, looks like the Betsie in Michigan, we fish it every year for our anniversary. Started on our honeymoon 43 years ago. Just added the coffer where the fish rest before they jump, and my husbands teal cap. Thank you and have a great time away.

I'm not a fishy woman.😂😂 but I have to say the atmosphere in this painting is very different from what you normally do but still just so beautiful. My husband just retired and is more seriously taking up fly fishing again, and we just returned from the Driftless area in Minnesota. It's a prime fly fishing area as the glaciers never touched it in the last ice age. I can see me giving this painting a try for him in my future. Thank you and enjoy your trip to the sun.

Funny innit, I regard fishing as the second dullest activity ever, but a friend of mine who is a very keen angler, regards painting the same way! Splendid result though, I'd like a hike in the West Delaware river area. One day maybe.
