use a filbert brush and make your stroke from outer edge into centre 😃and your failed experiments look nice to me...maybe vary your petal colours, you should get a nice flower with loads of depth

3 years later and I still don’t own a filbert brush yet 😅 it is on my wishlist though. I find I paint better when I go from centre out - I’m not sure why 🙈 thanks for the feedback - I actually do vary petal colours now. This piece is so old haha 🥰
