Good morning Paul , up at the crack of dawn to see what you’ve come up with for this week! Thank you for yet another amazing snow scene , I love that there’s plenty of rigger work on those trees , I need to practice ! This is my last watercolor Wednesday before foot reconstruction surgery on Monday , then I won’t be able to bear weight on it for over a month and it will be a lonnng recovery! I’ve been struggling to keep up with the group , as I stand to paint and I can’t get comfortable any other way ! Where there’s a will there’s a way , we will see how this goes! This is soooo amazing Paul, always your paintings are so life like. I loved your sky, the way you let the color do it's own self and creating the different hues of colors with it. I always love the way you do your trees. They look sooo real. The branches 🤩 And the stone wall, WOW, everything is superb. This looks easier to paint , will definitely try it. I started taking watercolor seriously again this summer. I painted a lot in high school, and did one watercolor class in college. Long story short, I stopped painting for about 10 years and this channel has helped me improve at warp speed. I have been trying a ton of your techniques and paintings. I am much more confident in painting skies, trees, water in general, rocks, walls, mixing colors, using salt, plastic foam, ect. The list goes on. Thank you for inspiring and providing me with all these techniques and just your thoughts in general on painting. My paintings have made a tremendous improvement. Cheers and happy new year!
