In glad you have a K7HLA again, have you ever tried custom bell mixing? If you get a K3 manifold you can attach a 1 and a 2 bell to make a K2, you could also use a 1 and a 3/3a to make an A+B

Oh my god man @10:15 mark you had me almost jump off my chair and try and stop that from falling! LOL. I paint all my horns with the same strategy, works great otherwise you must hang them in the air! - again thanks for all the hard work you put into these projects, Horn looks amazing you could sell that to some rich kid for 8 grand and he’d pay that for it.

If I had a raised letter K5HL, I would paint mine gray then add shower caps on it

the one i have has a black coat. would i have to chip it off or can i spray over?

Nah you can paint over it if you want. I’d sand it down pretty good and prep it with a primer. Then you can just spray over. Your lettering on the bells might not be as prominent due to some paint build up but that’s just preference

@@TheHornKing ok, thanks! what tools would i need to sand the current paint coat off? id hate to buy the wrong one and accidentally scratch the horn. if u mentioned in the video before, i apologize lol my memory is kinda foggy today

How would i go about stripping paint so i could polish my k5la? Thanks.

If your wanting to polish it after stripping you would defiantly want to use a chemical paint stripper. Media blasting will etch the whole horn making it very difficult to polish.
