This turned out really good (was getting a little bit worried in the beginning). The figures & bikes were especially good. Am amazed just how little squiggles & blobs can portray so much. Please keep showing us-- you are an amazing artist.

I was worried as well! 😆 Even if it feels like it is going to fail as a painting, it's worth keep going to the end. Probably a few positives elements and it might turn out alright 👍

I tend to colour in with water colours rather than the ‘loose’ painting style you use.

The problem Robert , I have with when i paint i don’t know what art is . Its difficult even to explain lol. I know I love what you do but i think if i painted like that it would be regarded as not a proper painting not exact enough , do you understand what i mean.

Yes. I hate most of the paintings I make as I finish it, however a few days later I know I wont feel the same. I will eventually see it as a painting and not compare to the reference. I guess the goal is to make the viewer feel something when they look at your painting. If they do feel positive, say about the atmosphere for instance. The lack of detail wont be a problem! Often too much detail can get in the way!
