At the time I watched your first video my initial thought when you started was, what is this now?! Professor this was an excellent lesson on the finishing touches on trees, which I found very helpful. I really love the glazing you did in the sky, & the added clouds on the right made it look amazing. You achieved some really nice distance on the right. Very clever. When you were talking about the challenges of editing, and a viewer’s comments about seeing your cat on the windowsill, staring out into the world just pop up, I burst out laughing. You may have replied, “That was your moment of Zen. BE the cat.” 😁

❤❤ wonderful and enticing, bravo 🤩 I like what you said about the dreaded NFT, scammers. I get so many myself and it’s very frustrating at times. If they were all genuinely interested in buying my original paintings I would be financially stable. A lot use the same script which I can now spot a mile away.

Watching this video really helped with the process where I think I'm going wrong. I'm looking forward to reworking some of my pics.v. Ps. To help with cardio repair.... 1tsp of cayenne pepper a day will sort out all issues with your arteries and veins.

Stuart, I enjoy watching you finish off a painting as much or more than starting one. I think because I spend more more time in the "finishing-off" stage than any other, and I am trying to get better at that so I can spend less time in it.

Red Ochre is very close to burnt sienna anyhow. Red ochre being calcined iron oxide is usually more transparent and a greater tinting strength.

I just saw an ad about a condition called "attr"? (If I got it right) Its usually misdiagnosed as heart disease, but heart is a symptom, not the cause. Its a treatable hereditary condition, that has something to do with the unfolding of proteins. Thyroid, back & joint pain, other symptoms occur from it. Its the first I've heard of it. Thought I'd pass it on, in case your not aware either.

I hope you can help me. I finished an oil painting and varnished it. When I took it in the light the next day I saw dust specs all over it. How do you make a dust free environment? We also have two cats so sometimes that’s a problem.

I've had that problem too, and I find it better to varnish in the garage. More bugs but less dust.
