thanks for the info and inspiration. From watching you on youtube, my ceiling is a bright tint of cerulean blue with pure white puffy clouds but no depth... tho its been over a year since I based it out, I am grateful you are still a presence here for a great refresher from an artist so well versed in their medium. Painting clouds on some old sash windows, trying to work with the translucency in it, so this is very helpful.

In Dutch we called them "schaapewolkjes" when I was growing up - sheep clouds - because they look like a bunch of grazing sheep. Great video, and loved your work on the ceiling too.

I've been looking at several online cloud-painting tutorials and - WOW! - am so glad I happened upon this one! I'm doing my first mural attempt (clouds and mountain ranges) along the upper part of my bedroom walls above the wooden picture rail and feel enlightened and inspired after watching you illustrate how to draw different kinds of clouds. The tip about adding some red to yellow and blue for the transition color. I'm also impressed with your sincere generous offer at the end of this video .

Wow that's cool! Have wanted to do the same thing myself for some time. Recently remodeled a room and decided to go for it...In the process of painting the ceiling blue at this point (gonna take 3 coats), then its time to try doing clouds. :) Not sure I have the skill, but I think this vid will be helpful (certainly going to have to experiment on some scrap plywood in the garage first though)
