Great suggestion! I use a very simple palette. The Zorn palette with some ultramarine blue.

Practice and practice, you will get there! I use Rosemary and Co synthetic long flats. I currently use 2 of each side 1,5,7,9. I do really need a set of size 3's tho. In a perfect world I would have 3 of every size. One for each value, darks, medium and light values. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!!

Thanks for watching! For sure, here's a few tips for you! My first tip is simply as much as you can. It can get really overwhelming to focus on all the details so break everything down to shapes and values! Fail often and learn faster! Do smaller paintings at first to learn the fundamentals! Big paintings are fun but take a long time, and you will learn faster failing more often! 3ed is if you want be to a paid artist... Learn business! If you want to paint for a living, full time or part time you need to realise your starting a business. In order to succeed as a paid artist you have to learn how to market, advertise, network, sell and taxes! And lastly, Go easy on yourself. Art is difficult, really difficult. So believe in yourself, trust yourself and remember to go easy on yourself. Not everything you do will be good, and that's OK! Keep up the hard work!

depends on your level of experience. I've been doing pet portraits for years and can complete one like this in about 12 hours from start to finish. This comes with lots of practice. Having said all that I wouldn't try and compare yourself to others. work on making your paintings more efficient and see what corners you can cut without compromising the final piece!
