Hi, I am Wim Bals and today i am going to show you how i paint fire.
In this video i am focusing on to catch that great movement of flames in your painting.
Fire is a fantastic element to incorporate into your painting. It gives light and movement to your theme.
While fire is not easy to paint, there are a few things to keep in mind.
For example, you should not consider fire as a single element in your painting, but you should let it interfere with the environment in your theme.

This is incredible..it looks like amazing brushes are needed for this. mine don't stay that pointed..

Thanks, the fine brushes usually only last for two paintings, then they need to be replaced.

Thanks for subscribing Carry! The underpainting is in acrylics and the final layers are in oil.

Can u share what type of brushes you use...it would help to know both the make and what brushes u r using. Ty

They are off-brand synthetic brushes from a local shop here with art supplies. Very good, and inexpensive, brushes for detailed work are the brushes of the brand 'Talens': Van Gogh series 295 Selected Filament number 2. If they are not available, you should seek advice from the local art supplies shop. I wish you the best of luck.
