These are wonderful. Thanks for sharing your technique. I have a question about the gouache. Isn't it water soluble? Do you fix your leaves before you cut them out or squish them up with water?

I have a white Sakura gelly roll pen and it barely shows up. I never seem to have any joy with gel pens - is there a secret about them I don't know about?

@melibee100 You may want to take it back and show the salesperson how it performs. It may be defective. If not, s/he will show you how to use it effectively. Hope this helps and/or you’ve already resolved the problem. All Grace!
