I recently did a Cpt. Rex for a friend in a very similar manner, but these are much nicer! Grimdark Clones, LOVE IT!

Yes! Thank you this is exactly what I was looking for. A real dark and gritty look for clones. I've been wanting to proxy Clones as a Guard kill team and this paint style looks like a great step for me.

With the model so close to the camera, some of the details look fairly large, but having painted these ARC troopers myself I can say that they most definitely are not lol.

Great video bud! On the Airbrushing ink bit have you tried changing up the PSI that you are shooting at or are you thinning it too much? I used to have a similar issue using the Liquitex white ink but that was because I was thinning it down with flow improver, I found that just shooting it straight out of the airbrush at around 30/40 PSI works fine for me now.

Quick question about the oil and spirit mix. I've the AK Interactive white spirit - would I need to mix that with the oil and then proceed to use the same white spirit to remove the wash?
