i also really like their glue applier. in generall, revell is THE goto brand for general model building stuff (where i come from), and its cool to see them finally get some recognition by the 40K community

they work the same, just keep good less long. i bought a starter set from amazon, 5 Brushes for 8€, and then i bought two "good" brushes for details , one from citadel, one from armypainter, each around 8€ per brush. The chinese ones came in crappier boxes and sheaths, and you can definitely notice the hairs coming off sooner, but the painting itself stays the same.

I dont know about fast, but what I do works pretty well. Its basically a basecoat of a lighter colour (rakarth flesh is my goto) then 2 heavy washes of agrax (or 3 lighter ones) then a final wash of seraphim sepia and it comes up solid

Is that an Army Painter precision side cutter? It's definitely a pretty good side cutter. Mine has weathered two Master Grade Gunpla, Two Real Grade Gunpla, a 1:48 scale Revell SBD Dauntless, a 1:48 Revell BF-109-10G, and a pretty hefty army of Necrons, and despite it all, it still has a pretty good edge. Hopefully it'll survive the backlog.

Hm, I have to be honest, I am not a big fan of the result. I think your midtones are not pronounced enough. After applying highlights, they are mostly gone. But many people in the comments like the result, so maybe I am mistaken. On the other hand, I really like your colour choices for the leather!
