This really looks great. Inspiring I would say. I'm to lazy for so many layers but might give it a go (or attempt with less layers and cover with pigment). Thanks for sharing!

This is the thing. Thin many layers gets smooth transitions. But you can do less layers and use pigment once dry to hide the obvious lazy bits or out Tufts to move the eye focus. And considering the real world isn't perfect neither do bases have to be :)
