Omg thank you so much for this tutorial!! Somebody ask me to draw a rose for them but I couldn't get it right somehow, i was struggling to find the right tutorial and reference until I found your video! I have just discovered your videos. This rose is stunning. I wonder if when you lay down successive layers if you allow the under washes to dry first? Thank you for a beautiful tutorial.

Thank you for discovering my channel.😍 After the paper is dry successfully, the paint does not smudge even after the second and third brush strokes. However, You need to move your brush a little bit faster.

Just wondering… When you start to paint the green sepals… Do you let the pink petals dry first To prevent bleeding of green into pink ? Thank you…Lovely rose

HI, Sandy! That's a good question.Yes, you're right. I usually paint petals first and then draw sepals next to them. But sometimes i used to mix flower color into stem and sepals for looking natural.:D

I cannot manage the water, colors mingle and the painting ends up muddy. I use 250g paper, is it because the paper? Or watery brush? Or something else?

I used 300g(140lb) cold pressed paper and clean brushes when coloring. You can try again!!🙌
