Wow...!!! Is all your paintings are wet on wet or dry on wet?

Thank you :-))) Mostly I work wet on dry, I do an underpainting and when this one is dry I apply a second, sometimes third layer on top. Sometimes I also work alla prima, just one layer wet in wet.

May I ask what kind of medium you prefer.?

Hi Elin, I prefer water mixable oils...but I meanwhile use them like traditional oil colour, I only use purified linseed oil to thin the colours down. The advantage is that you do not need any harsh medium for your paintings compared to working with traditional oil colour.

Thanks again :-))) This is an HDF plate - I would say it`s my favourite thing to paint on. VERY smooth and no structure visible, absolutely great for details.
