How to pair 4 wireless Bluetooth controllers 2 PS3 & 2 Wii U Pro pads on raspberry pi Recalbox

Using Recalbox on a raspberry pi 3 b. I setup 4 controllers. Pairing 2 Wii U Pro controllers and 2 PlayStation 3 gamepads. No dongle needed. I believe you need a certain usb dongle for Xbox 360 controllers. Hopefully someone finds this helpful. Controller. Retropie. Sync.

You saved my life! I've been searching youtube since November, trying to solve this issue! I think it DOES matter the cheap controller's (or keybord) usb position , AND the Playstation 3 cable's position!!! Because it was the ONLY way it worked! Thanks a lot! Hugs from Brazil!

Thank you for posting this! Seen so many ps3 configs with rasp pi retropie but none with recalbox! Hopefully will work for my third party ps3 controllers! :)

I also have a 3rd party sony controller and this worked perfectly. There is a PSX image i downloaded but no wifi detected and i did everything you're suppose to do to get the wifi to be detected. So since no wifi means no downloading 3rd party sony bluetooth drivers. So i gotta reinstall the image and try this to see if the 3rd party sony controller will be detected and not only on the first time but when i reboot and shut down and turn it back on. So far the recalbox works perfectly but gonna have to wait and try it on retropie image i have.

What version of recalbox are you using? I read something about internal BT not working with Dualshock 3 after 4.0.0. Do you have an earlier version or is that not the case?

I liked the video. I have tried to pair Wii U control on Recalbox but to no avail. Can you pair with internal bluetooth only or use a dongle?

Anyone have updated to 7.2.2 and have trouble to use ps3 gamepad wireless? I have two and both were working fine before system update. Now neither work wireless, only wired...

How can I play with Xbox or Ps3 controller on Dolphin/Gamecube ( recalbox/raspberry pi 4 ). It does not detect while in cable. Any solution?

No idea. I’m not up to date on everything with new pi’s. Can you use a ps3 controller? They are pretty similar don’t you think?

@@kennybeverage ahah yes but.. I'm still keeping the old PS1 and didn't changed it for the next levels :-D so... I have multiple devices original and not for ps1 having none for ps3 :-( It would be nice to be able to use them.... else I will give up and search for any good cheap PS3 compatible device

It doesn't look like my third party PS3 controllers want to connect and here i thought it was the controller. I put in a recalbox image on my device and of course that worked 100% but this retropie is hard even when the wifi doesn't want to show up on this terrible image i wasted my time getting. Good to know if i want to get bluetooth working i can use another image that will allow me to install the 3rd party drivers. But this image i have won't even show wifi.

@@marwan.naasan you should just be able to put the PS4 controller in pairing mode by holding down the share and PlayStation button until the light bar starts flashing . Do this after you start scanning for controllers.

@@rastamouse7861 sorry i haven't ps4 controller . My laptop is lenovo g50_30 celaron cpu and graphic card intel hd 64mb v ram .. 😥😪 in my city aleppo (in syria ) .. not any work to i buy laptop core i3 Do you believe that nes games drop frame rates and freeze while playing !!!!😐😪
