How to pair Apple Watch with Bluetooth headphones/earphones

If you're wanting to use your Bluetooth earphones to listen to music on your Apple Watch, this is your tutorial on how to pair them with your smartphone.
It's a relatively quick process, and definitely worthwhile doing if you want to leave your phone at home while you go for a run! Because who can do runs without tunes?

Yeah I have a similar issue. My iPhone SE picks up all my devices, but my watch SE only picks up my older Liquid Ears ear buds and not my Galaxy ear buds nor will it detect my headphones.

Same here, I have skullcandy earbuds because I prefer their sound quality. But they don’t show on my watch

I wish more BT headphones could be paired to several devices for quicker connection. That is definitely an area where wired headphones are still better.

Doesn’t work for non apple earphones it seems. Used to work at some point. They probably updated to cripple

It doesn’t work when I go on runs. Have to have iPhone near by for it to work. ( I have Powerbeats)

watch series 3 won't pair with my shokz pro- can't scan for it even though its virtually sitting o top of it. do I need to un bluetooth my phone that's synched?

Im on iwatch 6 cellular and I have my bluetooth speakers paired but they dont show up in the BT device selection on music or spoitify. But they show up in the iWatch BT menu as paired.. thoughts?

I wish. I have Dudios Zeus Pro Bluetooth earphones. Pairs fine with the Apple Watch 6 but no sound. Sound only comes out of the phone when I use watch to play music-with earphones linked to watch.

Hello mr. Pocket. SO helpfull thank you SO much. I did not get it running. because I started to pair from the spotify or Music app... That does not work!! It has to go trough the settings app first.... pfffffff😉😆

@@garrybedi Make sure you have your Apple Watch connected to a wireless plan. As an example w/ Verizon it is $10/mo+taxes. It WILL work when away from iPhone. With my running app I have to make sure the “watch only” option is toggled on, might have to do that with some music apps. cheers! I LIVE MINE!!! Go running, walking, and everything else and can track it and play my music playlist with ONLY my apple watch. Much more convenient than strapping my iPhone to my arm… I LOVE IT SSSOOOO MUCH, an exercise a LOT more b/c of it!!!

I've come from Samsung and as soon as you put a bud in your ear then sound comes through that. I phone you put a bud in answer it on your watch and it answers the call on your watch?? Why when you have a bud in?? If you play the Spotify app or yt music on your watch with a bud in it plays on your phone????? You shouldn't have to click and change it to your buds. Mad to me

You donrealize that - if i could fond the nluetooth emblem?! …. I would not have come to youtube. Nothing exists that the apple website brings up on my phone which byw the website doesnt even tell you how to do it. It tells you how to so it on your phone but not even remotely on the watch and NOTHING comes up on the watch 😂lol. I hate apple i hate i phone i hate the “smart phone” thats completely NOT!
