One of my controllers isn't lighting up I've gone to settings like you have to pair up it's not detecting it but I noticed your red controller had green lights on the side mine doesn't its not lighting up at all!

None of my joycons show any sign of life. It doesn’t even register as a dead joycon in switch…it still reads as having no joycons connected. I see no visible damage, it worked one minute, next it didnt

I despise these joycons. It’s rare that we need all 4, but in those few and far between situations, where I have a room full of kids wanting to play, you can rest assured that at least one of them won’t pair properly. I’ll then spend like 10 minutes pulling my hair out, trying not to say the words I’m thinking out loud in front of the children.

The Nintendo Switch is the most gargantuan POS ("p" stands for pile btw) I've ever had the displeasure to deal with in this regard. Stupid; ridiculous; bewildering. How the hell did they "fk" this up so horribly relative to third party controllers?! I hope it was done by design because any other reason is even more asinine.

I’m going to try pairing other controllers to it, theoretically it can do 8 but seems like it won’t be smooth pairing.

@@tech-asher I have to repair every single time with a number of third party controllers and sometimes - randomly - it doesn't take.
