Before frying: season the chicken or marinate it and let it sit a bit to add some flavour. After frying: let it rest a bit before cutting so that it retains more juice.

😂😂😂 I tried so hard not to laugh. But I mean you are right though... kinda, maybe... Nah there's nothing wrong with seasoning your food. But in all seriousness I thought this was just to show the process, not so much the details so it does do the job. It says "how to fry" and "essentials" not "How to make the most mindblowing pan fried chicken ever" so I guess technically this video does check out :3

Don't be too scared of "cooking thoroughly". If you get quality meat and it's fresh, even slightly under is fine. I'd rather eat slightly under chicken (that I know where it came from) than dry overcooked. Same goes for beef and yes pork too.

All of these people complaining about the seasoning. 🤦🏻‍♂️ I just used this method, and did my own seasoning. I have constantly struggled to get chicken cooked well and not too dry. I have to say this was the easiest and most AMAZING chicken I’ve ever EATEN, forget about the best I’ve cooked myself. 😳😳 As for seasoning: Don’t overthink it. Freshly ground sea salt and freshly ground pepper. Then paprika and garlic salt. Both sides, and use quite a bit of each one. Don’t be afraid of seasoning. Use quite a bit. It tastes amazing! Also, use dried paprika and garlic powder. Don’t try to use fresh chopped garlic cloves. They will just burn and taste like crap. The dried seasonings are made for high heat. 👍

After watching your video and analysing it for some minutes, i went to my kitchen and nailed that chicken. It was the juiciest chicken breast i've ever eaten. The funny thing is, that i fried in a stainless steel pot, because my pan had other stuff in it. Seriously, i've always had problems with frying, so i rather boiled, steamed or stewed. Thank you very much for teaching the way of fried chicken xD.

That was literally the best chicken breast I've made in my life. Mine was a thicker one than the one shown, so I did 3.5 minutes a side and then 5 with the lid on. I also splashed some tobasco over the top of both about a minute after the salt and pepper. I think because of the thickness, there was a very tiny bit on one end of the breast, in the centre, where it was ever so slightly less cooked than the rest (picture a medium steak of beef - same thing but only a very small tiny bit about 1cm high). But MY GOD! The whole thing was soft and melt in the mouth. I didn't know if I was eating chicken breast or Wagyu beef for real. It was that soft. Because the whole thing was so delicious, I also downed the plate in like 5 minutes while watching DisneyPlus. LOLOLOLOL. I never knew chicken breast can be this soft and delicious. I'm now rethinking my entire meal plan for these 2 months since our helper is out of town! Thanks Laoise Casey, is that your name?

My only differences were adding some dashes of poultry seasoning and increasing the steaming time while simmering to almost 20min. (Apparently whatever boneless cuts I got are thicker than the ones used for this video.) The hint of not letting it go dry after turning over is good advice. Also it may take a bit more salt than you may think.

*ahem* I can say that some of y’all sleeping on just salt & pepper as seasoning. There is most absolutely a time and a place for Lawrys and Johnnys, but salt and pepper can slap just fine on its own-if you do it right. You just got to select a good quality salt and pepper-no generics, and the coarser the better. Then, use it *generously *. Salt and pepper gives it taste, THEN if you want dimension, you add in the *fresh* herbs. If you just want spices, then you get the seasoning salt. 😂 Let me tell y’all that the best steak I ever had was seasoned with salt, pepper, rosemary, thyme and butter. And that was it. No A1 needed. 👌🏾

She is showing us the basics of pan-frying boneless chicken.Even with the minimal amount of seasoning displayed,it still looks delicious.I'd eat her...I mean the chicken.Yummy.

Nice! Although I would def throw in garlic cloves ,fresh rosemary, more butter. Then deglaze the pan with Balsamic Vinegar and pour that over.

I have been pan frying chickenbreasts for years, with various seasonings and so on , and I thought I did an amazing job in it, cause overall I can cook well and I love it too. However in the last few months i really started to put more effort into being a better homecook. That brings us to today when i made it again after quite some time, and I realized after eating it, that it doesnt feel the same as before. That I could do better. And this gave me a few pointers. So thank you.
