How To Part Hair Using Rubber Bands for Box Braids, Twist, Etc | DIY Parting Natural Hair Tutorial
Hey loves,
Today's video is a detailed DIY Parting Tutorial where I show you how to part your own hair using the Rubber band method for Box Braids, Twist , etc. I know some of us struggle with parting our natural hair by ourself for box braids, Twist and the rest of the other protective styles but I hope I was able to help with this rubber band parts for your protective styles. It also took me (1 hour 30 minutes) to achieve this parts using rubber bands. I am also going for a Jumbo Hairstyle, hence, my parts are jumbo in size. I'm 44 and never even used to wash my own hair let alone attempt to braid but since lockdown and with the help of this lovely lady Adanna, I've been rocking some nice styles at home. My hairdresser knows she has lost a customer. Thanks so much for your help. My pocket is even more grateful. God bless you

I love your zeal babess... keep going! Also, when doing the rope twist, I would suggest swirling the two strands of braiding hair on opposite directions as that gives the body of the extension a good hold prior to two strand twisting (I am not sure if I mentioned it in the tutorial). Also for the hot water part, don’t dip the entire body of that twist in hot water; try to dip only the ends. Hope this helps... Goodluck 💕

@cw4578
@cw4578 4 жыл бұрын
Putting oil on your rubber bands will cause them to break early. Normally the rubber bands should last at least a month or longer depending on the brand, but putting oil on them they will break within a week or 2. The oil in you put in your hair is enough.
