EXCELLENT presentation, Dylan! Great information for the head boat angler! When I lived down there, I would always like to fish up towards the bow where there weren't many people, underhand casting out from the boat. It paid off many times with large grouper. This strategy worked for me even on the half day trips when it came to catching large, quality fish. Thank you for these presentations!

You have to buy the best reel and the best rod if you want to catch a mackerel.

@@HubbardsMarina I was only kidding around. I first started charter fishing with my pop back in the 80s. We were poor and couldnt really afford any rods or reels let alone rent one at the landing. I used to bring a can of coke, some lines, hook and weights to catch rock fish. It's all that we could afford but it works.
