Hey there, Great video as always. I clicked on the link and it isn't working, this could just be my computer but I wanted to let you know just in case. I did find the conference information though just by typing it into google. I thought about attending but unfortunately it's a little out of my budget. Do you think you could make a video going over some of the discussions and advice shared at the conference?

Drew, how can you get licensed in Georgia and use that in New York? Did you have to take any particular tests?

I got my primary license in GA, and the NCARB Certificate. So when I wanted the license in NY, I just had to fill out some paperwork and pay some fees. It’s called a Reciprocal License. Generally, if you have a license in one state and enough money, you can get a license in just about any other state. The only exception I am aware of is California, where they make you take an extra test. Where things get tricky is if you get your primary license without completing a NAAB degree (which you can do in 4 or 5 states) And then tried to get reciprocity in a state that DID require you to have an accredited degree, I don’t know how that would go. I haven’t been able to find a clear answer on that.

Hi Drew! I saw all your videos and they are informative. I am working in an international architecture firm that outsources work in India ( I work on single family and town homes projects. My role is to develop construction document set) i am soon moving in the US. Can we get in touch through email? I need your help as I have couple of questions regarding license and picking right course for masters that is NAAB and LEED accredited. I am not a US citizen and therefore i will have to apply through student visa and then get H1 status. Thank you!
