I sure will as soon as I get a chance, but that's what I was doing wrong at first too...you actually dont give the cashier the code, when she gives u your total, u press the PayPal screen that is at DG, then on your phone log into your PayPal, at the bottom of the screen u will see a little store logo, press it and it should show u all the stores that accept PayPal nearby, so once u click on DG , will get that code, ok so cashier gives u the total of your purchase, u click on that screen in front of u about PayPal, it will won't YOU to type in that 4 digit code, then it done

kathryn Williams , yes that is exactly what happened to me the first time ... So with that code, the cashiers don't even have to see it, so when the cashier has given you the total you just hit that "pay pal " button on their pad, then just your PayPal app going, scroll down til u see "stores" on your phone, click the store you are in and it will then give you the code....and you don't give it to cashiers or nothing, you just enter that code on the stores keypad...and then it will start authorizing your PayPal 😀 ....if you have any more problems I will be happy to walk you through it while you are in the store...I promise to start checking my comments on a daily basis, you just let me know girl if you need me 😀

TheGrayBear You are absolutely right, mine wasnt showing up either. I did click on the settings icon and connected my PayPal to Google Pay, but also did a little research and here is what I found. In-store acceptance methods mobile phone number + PIN & the payment code feature in the PayPal Mobile app will no longer be available in the US after March 31st, 2018. Going forward, PayPal will continue to innovate and provide you with new payment choices at your favorite stores. And whether it's in-store or online, you can still pay using PayPal in a variety of ways including with a credit card (like a PayPal credit card), debit card or your mobile device via tap and pay on eligible Android devices.

Jessica Hyde I've tried to use the debit card in McDonald's before but I don't think it worked from what I remember. Do you know why? Also thank you for responding quickly

TheGrayBear gosh just as you thanked me for responding quickly, I just now saw this comment lol...I'm sorry about that... your case may be like mine, I can't link my debit card to google pay either because my debit cards establishment is not set up for Google Pay.... it sucks, I could link my credit card, but not my durn debit card

Augie Ngoda i will try my best to figure it out, i just dont understand why they even removed it... it does seem like now you may have to connect a debit card or credit card linked to your account, but then again, how are you supposed to use your paypal money? Its strange, but i will go now and see what I can come up with
