Albania is quite safe. It gets a bad reputation in Europe for being "Muslim" but the truth is Albanians are about as "religious" as Czechs. Albania is just like any other Balkan country for the most part with similarly low levels of crime and similar culture and lifestyle. The Transylvania region offers pretty good quality of life in Romania. Tbilisi in Georgia is very underrated and extremely safe. Pretty much everywhere in Eastern Europe is safer than all but the best of Western Europe except for maybe Moldova and the worst parts of Bulgaria and of course the Ukraine. I wouldn't even think about moving to Ukraine until the borders are finalized and the war is concluded. And even then I'd be wary about moving in to a post-war Ukrainian ruled part of Ukraine (if such a thing even exists in the post-war settlement). Bunch of veterans very used to violence coming back home. Probably sky high unemployment. Government likely in chaos. It could be a very dangerous mix.

There are plenty of guys who are either helping Ukraine in its war effort against the Russian invaders or have family here who have been asking me about these issues hence why I made the video. It's obviously quite niche and I don't promote moving to Ukraine or coming to Ukraine to date for the time being clearly.

In Ukraine, there is an upper limit of 7m UAH so you can't be making millions of dollars per year and using it to pay just 5% of such a massive amount but it's still attractive to a highly paid IT guy, for example. 👍🏻
