The best "PCS to Hawaii" breakdown video I have found so far. Thank you so much for sharing all the information. We are PCSing in November and this video is really really helpful. There are few other videos out there on KZfaq but you covered the most important and necessary steps.

My husband re enlisted and his report date is in November how soon can we start the process?

They should send him to a levy brief for more info and then he’ll get his orders. Once he gets his orders you should be able to start getting the ball rolling!

Did you pay for the hotel up front and then get reimbursed after?

Yep! That’s usually the only option.

How far out we're you able to get on the housing waitlist before arriving in Hawaii?

As soon as you get your orders and they’re amended (if you have dependents) you can apply for housing! You’ll be farther down the list not being on island yet but generally get moved up once you arrive just call and let them know.

A lot lol. There’s no one set price. Every airline has their own price and it can depend on crate size.
