i remember back at school i used my finger and palm to rock a beat. i made 50+ more beats in less then 2minutes before the bell rung, everyone kept telling me to play the drums but i thought my own fingers and hands can produce much more, i was pen tapping since i was three and for that i never stopped writing music and producing beats. For everyone out there, please dont follow this method, this is how this kid likes to do it, best advice, just let the beat play in your mind and feel it

Really simple and great beat here BTCTTBCT If you repeat it, it sounds really catchy, almost like a hip-hop beat. Really easy to learn and you should learn it quick so you got it in your system as one of your main beats. Sounds amazing

I use those pens but I grasp the clip at the end with my thumb and forefinger, loosely wrapping my other fingers down the shaft of the pen. I use the cluck button rather than the tip to tap.

Man when I was in high school (1998-2002) we used 1 pen or pencil and it was a boredom thing, now these kids have turned it into some sort of art form. lol

@AddictingProduction What finger is getting stuck? and also your middle, ring and pinky finger should be holding the body and back of the pen, and the index and thumb holding the top. When going for a clap make sure to release your three "body" Fingers while your "top" Fingers are still holding the top of the pen. Hope this helped :)

You can use that thin plastic pen just put the Cap at the end of it so you can hold on it

Pretty swell, I assume. But even though you wrote two sixteenth notes (and even spoke of it), you still played them as eighths. :D Had you played sixteenths, you'd end up with a 7/4 beat, though. But that's pretty cool too.
