Just took my cdl class A test, and passed everything except the reverse offset! I love that you said when you turn the steering wheel don't roll! I think that's what messed me up! I lost 10 points hitting the cones, and 8 was the limit!

This is the only video I found that's actually helpful. I'm currently struggling to do offset backing both to the Left and to the Right, I haven't had a chance to try the 90 degree and 45 degree alley dock backing yet. I really need to get better as soon as possible.

I've been taught to turn 1 full turn away, 12 to12 on the first turn yet when I come out of the first turn I'm covering up cone and have to pull up to adjust. I see that you turn all the way left on your first turn...is that correct?

so what does it mean if i dont see the center cone with i turn my wheel back to the right?

I had a teacher laugh at me when I messed up. The first turn he told me to look at a crack on the head more. Then turn right to get straight Straight back until my rear tires are outside of the boundary line then Hard left until my foot of landing gear pass the boundary line then Hard right, but I kept messing up and he laughed at me, said I wasn't listening, would tell me to get my tires straight and when I did he would say, no turn it right and I would then he would say no turn it right and I snapped. I was frustrated because I felt like he was mocking me and not actually helping me. I told him it was disrespectful because it was like insulting my intelligence. He told the boss then came to try to talk it out with me then said I had an attitude. I said it's easy to say the black woman has an attitude when she expresses her dislikes and boundaries after being violated. How was I wrong ? I still don't see it. He also left me to figure it out and a few students laughed at me for messing up because they think I'm a know it all because I suggested we all study and test each other with every section, and suggested that we name what we're looking for before learn the CDM,ABC, CDB words. Name it like, This side I'll check my alternator and this side my power steering reservoir, coolant , etc so we know we won't miss it. But I'm a know it all ? So they gloated in my downfall. I never said I knew how to do everything. I made suggestions. I never said I remembered everything. I said I studied five years ago but didn't pass the parking. But they still laughed when I didn't pass the parking in training. I really want to just go home but at the same time I don't want to do that to myself.
