Love this! We are doing a fun illustration of our venue, doing a signature cocktail based on our French bulldog, and having a mariachi and a belly dancer! We are so excited to show off our own personalities, and we know all the different cultures coming to our wedding are going to have fun seeing something out of their normal realm.

Love it, Cavin! Especially the tips about involving entertainment in the reception. Personally I’m a really awkward and self-conscious dancer, so this has been a big thinking point for me! I’m always open to other ideas for the reception besides dancing!

Love this!!!! ❤ Amazing message, ideas and encouragement!!!!! My now husband changed into a kilt b4 cake cutting and my violinist friend fiddled a Scottish tune while our best man read a short paragraph for this Quaich ceremony with our hand whittled cup!!! It was a surprise to everyone, they enjoyed it and then they enjoyed cake!!!! Our family heritage/tree was a big part of our day!!!

I love this, i definitely got caught up in trying to be super classy and elegant, but we LOVE eating BBQ and drinking, so we will have bbq at the wedding and his favorite beer. We are also doing a foot washing ceremony which is super religious, and then having a big party that is anything BUT religious at the reception
