I was recommended Batanes as a destination by a neighbour so I was so pleased to find such a cool video on it. I'm fairly certain I'll be going there next year if I can raise the funds; Ishigaki and Tokyo did some damage to my bank account this year. Ouch. Batanes looks incredible, like a few different countries in one. It's really disorienting and otherworldly. Stunning.

Not anymore. They now charge P5000 for Batan Island and P1000 for Sabtang.
