I’m basically a linebacker I kind of have a more bulky or build not fat or anything or even chubby but like a more athletic build do you know a way I can slim down and drills I can do to be a good defense back?

@@zay_gzs5635 I sure do. I advise you to go on a small calorie deficit so you can lose weight & not lose any muscle in the process. To lose weight you need to burn more calories than you intake(please don’t starve yourself.) For the DB drills, you should practice doing hip flipping drills, getting out of your breaks(pedal then open up left or right then break.) and the weave drill. Hope this helps!

I've never played football before, but I want to join for next year as my last of high school. I have just recently started trying to get my weight up/bulking, getting strength and cardio stamina. Where do I start learning to become a db or Safety? How do I train, how do I learn the basic skills? I'd be happy enough to make JV and get some playing time.

Thank you coach , I do 8-10 times a week , most of the time 2 times a day that long 40 to an hour , but you said it’s not good. But how can we become the best if we don’t put quality work and quality work is also quantity . I do around 15 drill per workout and around 8-20 rep per drill , focusing on technique and details and I got way better like in 2 month than some people in years

Is it ok to do drills 4 days a week and do it for 1 hour and how many days a week do you train in the off-season with your nfl dbs like surtain and x
@GridironStuds
@GridironStuds 2 жыл бұрын
It is but I would really evaluate what you are actually doing out there and see if there is something that you could cut out and keep it to 45 minutes. Sometimes less is more.
