In this video I show you how to plant the bare root perennials. I soak the roots for about an hour and then plant them in pots to start growing. I then will plant them into the garden when the weather is permitting and the plants have starting growing well. Sometimes that can be until the plant has put on a good size to compete with all the other garden plants.

Light of Heart Iris
Iris sibirica. A Siberian Iris like no other! Light of Heart has the most intricate colouring with shades of lavender-pink, royal purple, violet and blue. Chocolate brown with gold at the base of the fall petals top it off and bring sophistication to this easy-to-grow and reliable favourite. Siberian Iris prefer moist soil and bloom a bit later. Their slender, spiky leaves add wonderful texture to the landscape even when not in bloom. When in flower, they are incredible! Height 24-36"
Shakers Prayer Iris
Iris sibirica. Surprisingly easy to grow for such a showy flower! Award winning Shaker's Prayer has slender flowers that are violet-purple with substantial veining. Height 24-36".
Double Decker Coneflower
Echinacea. With is mauve-pink petals and dark brown cone all lavishly topped with a second tier of petals! Flowers attract butterflies. Height 24-30"
Sunglow Crocosmia
Crocosmia. An award-winning Crocosmia variety with large, lily shaped florets that are a juicy, tangerine-yellow hue that really do seem to glow in the late summer sun. Flowers are very long lasting and will attract hummingbirds and butterflies like magnets! The graceful, green swordlike foliage adds texture and movement even when not in bloom. Bulb size: 8-10cm in circ. Height 20-25".
