Detailed video - • Video
In this video I will show you how to plant potatoes so that there is a large potato harvest. Growing an early potato crop is very simple because the earth warms up faster and moisture is perfectly retained. The potato harvest will be great if you follow the rules that I tell you about in the video.

Don't use this method. Plant them deep and once the plant appears keep covering them with more dirt. You'll get more full size potatoes than you can use.

For your information, potatoes only produce from the tuber upwards. You have to keep on adding soil as the plant grows until the plant flowers. Only then should it he harvested. You will more than double your yield using this method, guaranteed.🙂

Well of course they are going to be more expensive. It's a seed potato specifically for planting. Buying from the store witch in turn, makes you wait for the eyes to grow. So in the end it doesn't really matter witch way you do it. But the potatos at the store are for eating mainly.

Cut a potato for each eye it has, and let it dry/scar. Plant one foot apart, in rows one foot apart. The no dig method doesn’t work well in many areas, but it’s good for clay soil where it gets compacted when dry, otherwise it’s just more work and more expensive. Use hot compost (high in nitrogen) or use soil correctors. You can literally use all your pee on your potatoes if You’re ao inclined. A small layer of whatever weeds you have around will be free to gather and hold a bit of moisture. Dig up grass flip upside down and place over potatoes a few days later. Stop watering them for the last month. Cut up the foliage to feed livestock if you have any, but leave the main stalk in place so you know where there’s a potato plant when digging them up. One fell swoop of your hoe half a foot away from your plant you won’t cut any potatoes, pull and gather potatoes. Continue.
