awesome niki, i plan to start my own garden this year! i wanna do a pumpkin garden and have lots of pumpkins for my halloween display. but 1st i need to get a tiller, im looking into a troy bilt one or a cub cadet one. not sure what one to buy.

Great question! I have the Troy-Bilt Rear Tine Tiller and I've used it a handful of times the past year to tear up lawn to turn to gardens. Cuts through the grass/clover mix very easily.

Thanks Nikki, just had some microgreens for supper last night that i grew in pots. Got another 4 pots worth all staggered one week apart. Do you recommend using cinnamon on top of soil when planting seeds. My Dad always used it so seedling stems wouldn't rot. Also, should I transplant broccoli seedlings? Thanks, Sharon.

Great questions! I know many gardeners who sprinkle cinnamon.. I don't bother but do keep a fan on in the room to encourage good air circulation. That helps with stem rot and damping off. And you can transplant broccoli now but I would put them under a mini hoop tunnel, especially for protection from night temps. I've got a bed of cabbage in the garden and have a row cover over them (which also prevents the darn cabbage moths from laying eggs!)
