Hi, it’s Kiryuzuna. It’s a type of Japanese soil/rock.

Similar to Akadama, isn’t it? It’s nice, and can be used as a soil amendment, leavener or mixer. They’re almost like decomposed granite (D.G.) but “filtered” and not as many small particles. And doesn’t harden into a crust on top when dry… but decomposed granite, as well, is another good ingredient for succulents, and very under-appreciated, I think. Can be used as a top layer on the soil or added into the substrate. Or it can BE the substrate itself, if you add some more drainage to it, like perlite or pumice, charcoal, zeolite, etc. LECA is a great soil amendment, too.

It was a spoon from a frozen yogurt (The yogurt name is BLK 513). I iust reuse it.

Yes po. Mostly sa Benguet Sellers, ‘yung imported naman from Succulent City (pero hindi na yata sila nag-iimport now. Try niyo na lang sa mga Benguet sellers.
