You can always spray some Farmers Plus NPK liquid fertilizer. I only use WI Products and always spread the recommended pellet 19-19-19. The NPK will boost the growth and its much easier spraying with a UTV. Spray it on the brassicas as they are growing. They will explode. Just don't turn your wheels while you are in the plot. Make straight passes. This helped me!

North woods whitetail has the best brassica blend on the market. It’s called sweet feast brassica. I plant exclusively no till now. If you do three applications of gyl (May, June and late July early August) the results are even better than tilling simply because there is less weed competition. A simple application of nitrogen four or five weeks after germination is all you need. I don’t even use lime anymore. I have gone exclusively to plotstart. It could not make it any easier to plant a high quality food plot.

I've only planted turnips once, and they came out decent! Lost that property and wasn't able to try it again.

Don't waste money on fertilizer without doing a soil test.
