It was not an issue at all germination was excellent so it didn't affect anything.

@@jusreapfarmstv brother , no good to walk over / step over seed bed , before and after planting / that is standard procedure .+ walking over dripperlines causes emitter damage .

The machine is very precise as it only drops 1 seed from each chamber at a time with good spacing so it won't be to thick. There is also a video there that I did showing the germination we received you can watch that one as well and it is growing very nice at the moment. 2. a. The best weed control you have for onions is to use the stale bed technique which is the best form of weed control. b. Secondly we would use herbicides that provides a cotting on the planting beds. How this works is that you would use sow the seeds then you irrigate the beds for about 3 days ensure they are well wet and the you use that herbicide that whenever it touches the water it spreads and creates a cotting that prevents the weeds from coming through so they will die but it does not affect the onions because onions grow back way from germination stage. c. Manual labour to pick out the bushes using hands. d. There is herbicides that are also available on the market to use in onion crops that when mixed at the correct dose would burn the grass but not the onions but if they are mixed too strong will burn the onions as well. What we do is to mix under the recommended dose and spray 3 different times.

Hi , also from Pakistan, I have same planter I used for Wheat over Beds , extremely good results I got . What no socket u are using for Onions in this planter to make sure it gives out one seed in a whole . Regards, Shahid

We use the services of Agro Investment Corporation who controls the agro parks and only cather to person who farm on the agro parks. Each agro park across the island has its own.
