hello, You don't have to dip these flowers. If you just use a brush and brush on the mixture to the flower you won't loose any detai. Dipping causes a buildup of plaster and you lose the real look of the flower.

Yhe framed pumpkin piece is so pretty. Makes me want to get out all the fall stuff and decorate. All the projects are lovely.

I bought flowers and 2 buckets of plaster maybe 4 months ago to do this project but held off. This ONE first post i just saw was the most helpful thing i needed to give me enough confidence to do it finally! You can spray paint them also with light layers of chalk or metallic paint. I use the stem to be able to move them around kinda shaking (if you will) to get in between the petals. I’m not sure if I explained that well but maybe you can understand what I mean. Thanks for all you do. Everything is always amazing!

Oh, Lisa....I LOVE how that framed pumpkin piece turned out, and I'm not really fond of the 3-D art pix, but this one I really do like. And I'm pleasantly surprised at how that background adds to the overall look, too. But the minute you added those twisty twigs to the bottom just gave this whole thing an exclamation mark!
