B7 is really Cb7 in theory for the key of Ab to keep all in context. Therefore Cb7 is the bIII7 chord borrowed from the parallel Ab minor key and using secondary dominant 7ths through out except for the real dominant which is Eb7.

@@iluvjazz7 Actually, for key of A flat: the 2nd 7th cord is B flat, D flat, F, A flat. This guy is playing first inversions with root on top so he can add the 7th ( A flat) in with ring finger.

There is a gift here that goes beyond ability. To sing to what he is playing like that, the coordination is remarkable. Bass being played, then his right hand and still the timing and dynamics in his voice and instrument. Just amazing.

"Put your time in, payday's comin' after a while." Words that touched me this morning. There is a positive end to all of this that we're wading through. It's going to pay. Came here after going online to a local service where they sang, "Have you tried Jesus?" It's been years since I visited this video and it was nice to find my way back. Took me a little while to find it again. I was thinking it was at the Kennedy Center rather than out of Lincoln Center. Typed in "Have you tried Jesus jazz" and it brought me to a different Damien Sneed video which I was then able to use to get here. I love at the end how he says, "Ok, you've seen how it's done, now you try" like it's just that easy. Although in his favor, he does give a lot of information as to what he's doing. Maybe one day I'll sit down and learn how to do what he's doing on that piano of his. What a gift this is.

Hello all! I am Negot Seraphin from Haiti. I've been playing music for about 12 years and never satisfied with my performance. I am transformed after watching the video "How to Play 16-Bar Congregational Songs in Gospel Music" of Sir Daniel Sneed. I can't keep it secret, the video is WOW. If the video is WOW while Sir Daniel Sneed is the one who makes it with his staff. Therefore, they're WOW, Just to say I appreciate this ability and I am going to practice now to be a seasoned pro at playing not only as it's my cherished dream. Keep being you as you progress with God your Lord and the music you're playing to Him.
