Great player yes. "Virtuoso" might be an overstatement. Look at the tab here - not that complicated. Set the delay and a beginner can play it. Now look at tabs at what 19 year old Jimmy Page or Jimmy Hendrix were playing. It would look like a Beethoven music sheet.

Phayzyre105 -- Someone, a few years ago online, very correctly commented that KZfaq is the new MTV/VH1 in the 21st Century. It is truly twisted that a video here can rake up 5 million views, but the song/single will barely net repeated plays on the radio. To think that much of the original, great visual material made in the '70s, '80s, and '90s have been stowed away and relegated to MTV2 and Classic VH1 seems antithetical to what the original channels were committed to. Thank goodness for KZfaq.

Lyrics: I walked along the avenue I never thought I'd meet a girl like you Meet a girl like you With auburn hair and tawny eyes The kind of eyes that hypnotize me through Hypnotize me through And I ran, I ran so far away I just ran, I ran all night and day I couldn't get away A cloud appears above your head A beam of light comes shining down on you Shining down on you The cloud is moving nearer still Aurora borealis comes in view Aurora comes in view And I ran, I ran so far away I just ran, I ran all night and day I couldn't get away Reached out a hand to touch your face You're slowly disappearing from my view 'Pearing from my view Reached out a hand to try again I'm floating in a beam of light with you A beam of light with you And I ran, I ran so far away I just ran, I ran all night and day And I ran, I ran so far away I just ran, I couldn't get away

Saw them in 82 in Boston in a club across the street from the Green Monster at Fenway Park. I forgot the name of it then! I do remember it was Drum Tobacco night, or at least they sponsored the show! The good ole’ days with lots of military jumpsuits, a big Sting influence at the time. I was 20 then and will be 60 in a few months. But when I hear The Police, The Clash, New Musik ( Tony Mansfield), XTC, and all the others, it just takes me back, and I’m 20 again! Music is powerful!

One of the greatest guitar riffs that ever came out of the 80s that still blows my mind. I was up to my eyeballs in post-punk music at that time, but the debut lp was special, so of course, I purchased the cassette. Hearing this song for the first time in 1982 was a galactic journey. Would have loved to have seen Paul playing his old Kramer XL-5 in this clip, but I'm sure that guitar is in a museum somewhere. Cheers!

This was the first song I ever heard on a compact disc. My brother and I came home from school and mum got a small Phillips CD player, the kind with a push-to-open door on the top, out of the airing cupboard and popped this on. We stood there and listened in silence, it seemed such an alien sound to us, having grown up on a diet of copied and stretched Led Zeppelin and Beatles tapes. I can remember it like it was yesterday. It would have been around '99. R.I.P Mum.
