Hint: you should activate Anchamourite at the beginning. You pop him draw 1 card. Then he gets to the extra deck and use his monster effect. BEcause you controll no other extra deck you can special summon him and even if he leaves the field, he gets banished instead of going to your extra deck and lock you plays. Thats why: you have anchamourite and vanitys... its gg.

Correct, plus, you could get a spell/trap out of Anchamourite's draw so you can then search for Pantheism and use it. Also, opening with Anchamourite is very important, relaying in Edea's normal summon is very risky with so many Impermance, Ash, and Veilers around.

DAD! I need help with this deck! This deck is so freaking inconsistent for me. I feel cursed lol. I want to play monarchs but it's impossible to play competitively haha.

The thing is, u shouldn't rely on NORMAL summoning Edea and Eidos, especially when u have nothing on field or graveyard. For example in his first hand, he should have played Anchamoufrite to draw 1 card and special summon itself, then use Tenacity to get March, play March, tribute summon Majesty's Fiend and that's game.

That's only if you open with 1 starter. I literally run 2 Domains and Terraforming just to bait Ash since Terraforming is great Ash Bait that or always open tenacity/Ancham saving Pantheism/Edea as my last card draw

I actually use Envoy with my Monarchs haha it actually works really well. You'd be surprised how much he has saved me. Dueled against a Six Sam player one time, pulled that out against him and he didn't see it coming. Totally caught him off guard and I took the game! He was really impressed by that haha

monarchs are my lifelong deck since 2007. Loved seeing this video but there are some things I would've done differently! Still loved it! Edit: *monarch players then* damn, I bricked *those same players now* activate anchovies, pop anchovies, draw 1 card.... shit...

I‘m quite new to Yugioh, so what exactly is the goal of this deck? Like let’s say I play the deck and don’t know nothing. What do I strive for?

Bit late but the deck is sorta a aggro/control deck as you summon a 2800 monster on turn one, and then you get the field effect in play which stops your opponent from playing cards from the extra deck, and basically locking them from their best atackers.

Try adding double summon. It helps if eda or squires effects gets negates

If it's done, it's done. But to avoid that, Edea should be a last resort. You can bait Ash with Pantheism or Tenacity. If I can, I'll always special summon either Mithra or The Prime Monarch instead of normal summoning Edea or Eidos
