Very succinct and comprehensive. One note: your breeding description failed to mention that animals can be moved around at will. The sheep could have legitimately bred in the example shown, by moving the boar into the stable or house, then storing the woollies in the vacated pasture and either the house or stable, depending on where the piggy ended up. Nonetheless, well done.

Same question here. Great video (cant find better ones on agricola) and only 15 minutes. Wd and i hope the guy gets the number of subscribers he deserves.

Thanks for the teaching video, for such a classic I’m surprised at how few teaching videos there are. It may just be me, but I found the background music a little distracting. I can appreciate that with no backing music “how to” vids can feel dry, but maybe it was just that particular piece of music 🙂

OUTSTANDING job on this! By far the best "bang for the buck" explanation of this game I've ever seen. I think it's at least as good as other tutorials I've seen which are more than twice as long. My only nitpick is the level of the music in the overall sound mix (it's about 50% too high IMO) but again I can't tell you enough how impressive this is. I'm looking forward to checking out your other vids.

NICK Van DAM I have either the first or second edition from Z-MAN, as well as the Goodies expansion for better resource tokens.

FYI, according to the written rules, the number of animals that can be contained in stables/fenced in pastures is actually only half of what is described in this video.

What rulebook are you referencing? Fenced in pastures can hold 2 animals per square, and a stable inside doubles the capacity of the entire pasture.

Do you know what “It’s all downhill from there” means?

It can mean different and opposite things depending on the context. Really confusing. If you have just spent time and effort traveling uphill then "it's all downhill from here" means that things are better and easier from here on out, similar to the phrase "It's smooth sailing from here on out". On the other side of the phrase; if you are at a positive, high point in your life, "it's all downhill from here" means everything coming is lower and worse. So it can mean more than one thing.

Thanks, Quinn Sommerfeld! I'm actually an English teacher and I didn't know that! It seemed a very weird usage to me. Either we only use it in the negative sense in Britain or I've never realised it's dual usage, thanks!
