how i play is i always assume the face down card is 10 since that’s the most common number then i try to get over the dealers hand while staying under 21. But if i’m at 16 or 17 i’ll stand

So wait u have to get 21 ? Exactly to win or if u get 20 and the dealer gets 18 you win?

Yes. If you go over 21 you lose If you hit 21 or get a higher number then the dealer you win. If the dealer hits 21 they win If they go over 21 they lose. If they get higher then you they win. The dealer has to draw cards until they get 17 or higher.

Yeah 18.55 they say meaning 18 is generally considered on the losing side whilst being the highest statistical W advantage for a "losing hand".

Yes and no, for example you can have a 13 but if the dealer has a 6 showing you’re better off staying. The logic behind that is you’re hoping the dealer has a ten underneath the 6 and will then bust. Of course if you play a while you’ll see a ton of wild stuff, you can only make the best play possible. It is gambling after all.
