i recommend that everyone learn the fingerstyle version of playing this song. That's what I'm currently learning and it just has way more depth and feel than strumming the whole time

@arhamshah3593 in this song/chord progression? No. I mean on some chords you can others like the C major which hasthe root note (bass note) on the third fret of the A string (second thickest string) you have to skip or mute the top E string (thickest one) with your fret hand fingers. Or ekse youll play that deep E and it won't be a C major chord anymore. This will be the same anytime you play a C Major chord in the open position for any song. Which will be awhole lot if you keep playing. Just look on the tabs showing where the fingers go for each chord. And see those X's and O's up top? Theyre not playing tic tac toe . The O means Open string, so play it but no finger on any frets on that string. And the X means dont play that open string for that chord. So either dont hit it at all or more commonly just lay or touch it with a fingertip lightly so when you hit it when strumming it won't ring out but just make a muted "tic" sound. Then dont have to worry about it ringing if you hit it strumming. And later you can incorporate the tic or fret hand muted sound into your playing as a bit of a percussive flare thing. That well as palm muting, which you use the palm of your strumming hand to mute the string or control the amount it rings... are very common handy techniques youll learn later. Anyway hope irs not overcomplicating it? Its not hard hou should be learning and mastering your basic open chords anyway so just look at the chord diagram of which sttng to play and which to not... then its the same with any song you use that chord in.

Good advice . Idk how advanced this giy is , or if its so its easier for noobs or something. ... nor know the song... but playing this everyday simple chord progression with just all down strokes like that, well i doubt it does the actual song any favours or that they play it like that. Plus fingerstyles awesome so everyone should learn it. :)

@@snehi_05 its been a year lmao i am perfect at it now pretty easy tbh and u might have not tuned ur guitar right or maybe ur not fully pressing the chords u will just have to practice a lot and u will get it right eventually

@@snehi_05 try practicing 1 chord at a time first then play them together without any strumming pattern make sure that the chords sound right and clear then proceed on to learning the strumming pattern or maybe ur guitar isnt tuned properly
